Spiritual Development of those in Combat Sports

I have been involved with the boxing community in the North East of Newcastle for the last few years and found that there is a lot of desire among young amateur and professional athletes to develop their spirituality and to reconnect with their faith.

I have been working with a number of boxers on a one-to-one basis, often covering the cost of any materials. I have organised retreats for them and have had the privilege to be there for them in a pastoral capacity.

The funds I wish to raise through the Newcastle 10K I am running would be used to purchase materials for this work: books, rosaries, Bibles, and any other resources that might come up as needs in the following year.
