Support our Teachers and YP

We are Spiritus, a part-time alternative learning community. We provide supportive education to children in Elective Home Education or participating in Flexi-schooling.

Most young people who attend Spiritus have experienced bullying, have severe anxiety, do not 'fit in'. Experiences a young child should never have to experience.

Many find the studies too restrictive, intense, cannot understand the learning, It makes them feel unintelligent, unworthy, not good enough.

At Spiritus we truly believe every young person has their own journey and it needs to be cherished. We aim to give them encouragement to want to learn, space to understand and as many options as possible to find their true calling.

We are constantly working to bring in local businesses and colleges to work with us, to share their experience with young people and let them know what their options are.

We came into the world on our own, we are meant to find ourselves in our own way, not grouped together all learning the same thing.

We always throw around the words 'childhood years are the best years of our lives'. To help them have this ultimate experience they need the freedom to be.

Your donations play a crucial role in our operation as they directly facilitate the functioning of our hub, ensuring our dedicated teaching staff are compensated and operational costs are covered. This funding primarily empowers more children to partake in our enriching learning program and to buy them any resources they need to make their learning the best.

Beyond this, it aids in fostering an enhanced educational environment for our young people, fueling their overall growth and development. Thus, each contribution significantly assists in actualising our mission of widening educational access and delivering quality instruction.

We cannot be a charity as it comes with many restrictions, we are a social enterprise. All profits get fed back into Spiritus to buy equipment/book trips/fund YP and teachers.
