Splash of Color Activity Kit by Ellejay S Designs

In honor of my daughter Laura-Jean Schnupp, I am beginning a new venture, Splash of Color Activity Kit by Ellejay S Designs.

 

LJ was diagnosed with a rare, very aggressive, unknown cancer in January of 2020.

As we sat together for many hours while she received her cancer treatments, and because we are both artists, we would brainstorm about how helpful and fun it would be to have some art we could work on during those long hours of treatment.

 

Laura-Jean’s life and career was centered around helping others and spreading love.

 

She worked as a Recreational Therapist with vulnerable children and adults in hospital settings in NY.

 

She showed people the power of human connection and opportunities for joy to brighten their lives through artistic expression. She always looked for ways to incorporate art as a method of communication and healing.

 

Her wish was for us to continue this mission of sending positivity and love to everyone, especially to those individuals having to deal with the rigors of chemotherapy, radiation, and many other treatments.

 

We want to carry out her dreams to help patients get through their treatments and escape their situation through positive inspiration and creativity, even if only for a little while.

This colorful kit contains;

 

All of these creative goodies are contained in a convenient carrying case, which doubles as an art desk.

 

Our goal is to be a Non Profit Organization, based on donations, sponsorships, grants and sales, to make sure this will be distributed at no cost to any patient.

 

We are awaiting our Non Profit status as we speak.

 

We hope that you will consider being a part of this positive endeavor in honor of Laura-Jean and in honor of all those battling a disease.

 

We know this kit will bring smiles, hope, love and a “Splash of Color” to all of us.
