Helping The Splonskowski Family After NewYear Fire

Donation protected
Ringing in the new year should be filled with times of cheers, smiles & laughter but unfortunately that is not how 2020 began for this family. Michelle & Matt left their home around 6 am and the fire department is estimating the fire began roughly around 9am and took the house completely to the ground. Nothing was able to be saved & all their beloved animals were unfortunately lost in the fire. Thankfully no family member was in the home at the time but a phone call at 6 in the morning from a neighbor reporting your house is on fire is not the way to begin your day and even your year. As a family with 4 kiddos, I can’t imagine what they are going through. We are asking our community to reach out and help one of our own during this trying time as this family assess their losses and attempt to rebuild. Please donate what you can and share even if you are unable to donate. The more people we reach, the more help they can receive. Update- the family has shared a few items they are looking for in this time of need. Size small in shirts for a girl. Size medium in shirts for 4 of the girls. Size 5 & 7.5 for shoes or winter boots. We have a drop off spot for all items at caribou coffee in Detroit Lakes, MN.
