Spokane Valley Trailer Fire

Hi,
This is Nancy Nelson, Mya’s wife.
We are in crisis. I would like to take the time to inform you of a situation that occurred with my family on Tuesday, July 17, 2024. Our RV propane tank exploded, leaving my husband burned severely, our animals burned or dead, and our home destroyed. My husband and I have been apart, but we aren’t divorced. The level of depression, frustration, and anguish are crippling. Any funds to help with fire clean up, hospital, medical care, physical therapy, emergency transport, vet bills, home care and replacement, will be welcomed and cherished. I want to thank everyone who took the time to read this for their prayers and any financial contribution to help our healing journey.
Mya’s condition:
Mya was rushed to Sacred Heart ICU at 10pm. 75% of his body has 2nd-3rd degree burns.
He was flown to Harborview Medical Center burn unit in Seattle at 2am on Wednesday morning. 3 hrs surgery later, he was infection free, but had to be intubated due to severe smoke inhalation.
As of today, Sunday 7/21, he’s breathing on his own, able to eat some food and starting physical therapy.
Vet bills?
SCRAPS officers rescued 2 of our cats, Keene and Abby, from the rubbles on Wednesday morning. We lost 3 cats in the incident: Ebony, Lilah and Dovah. They were very loving cats, may they rest in peace.
Any assistance and prayers is greatly appreciated.
I have included a news report of the situation for reference KREM2
