"Sponsor a Child’s Dream: Your Support Transforms Lives!"

Hi, my name is Edith, and I want to share with you the story of how Theatre Led Arts (TLA) changed my life.

When I was younger, I was painfully shy. I found it hard to make friends, struggled to communicate, and often felt lost in social situations. School wasn’t easy for me. I wasn’t the outgoing, confident kid who made friends effortlessly. Instead, I was the one standing quietly on the sidelines, unsure of myself and feeling like I didn’t belong.

Everything changed the day I found TLA. Walking into that room for the first time was terrifying, but little did I know, it would become my second family—a place where I’d find my voice, my confidence, and my passion.

TLA welcomed me with open arms. They offered me a scholarship, knowing that my family couldn’t afford the full cost, but they saw something in me—a spark that just needed nurturing. Through their guidance, I began training in acting, singing, and dancing, and soon enough, I was thriving. I was no longer the shy girl in the corner. I was standing center stage, performing, expressing myself, and most importantly, making friends. TLA gave me the tools to communicate, to connect with others, and to believe in myself.

The support from TLA went far beyond teaching me the three disciplines of theatre. They helped me with my mental health, gave me a safe space to grow, and encouraged me every step of the way. I’ve since taken accredited examinations and am now auditioning for some of the top performing arts schools in the UK—something I never thought possible before TLA.

Without this incredible community, I’m not sure where I’d be today. I know that my life could have taken a very different path if it weren’t for the support, care, and opportunities TLA gave me. They didn’t just train me; they transformed me.

Now, I want to give back. I’m reaching out to you to ask for help—just £3 could make a world of difference. With your donation, we can help another child like me find their voice, their confidence, and their passion for performing arts. Our dream is to help TLA build their very own performing arts centre, a space where more children can feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves.

Thank you for reading my story. Please consider donating and helping another child experience the magic of Theatre Led Arts.

With love and gratitude,
Edith
