Sponsor A Zimbabwean Student's Exam Fees
Chiedza Child Care Center is a welfare organization supporting thousands of orphans and vulnerable children through offering services in child protection, education, health and nutrition, among others. 14 children are due to write their national Ordinary Level examinations this year, and each child's registration costs $15.
In Zimbabwe, Ordinary Level exams are the gateway to key life opportunities and are often termed the most important examinations in a child's life. It is these exams which enable children to eventually complete high school after two years, apply to jobs and universities, and potentially escape a cycle of poverty. However, the exam registration deadline of July 9th is fast approaching. With the lockdown measures put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many families have struggled to make ends meet - let alone find the means to sponsor this important step in children's education.
