We are Musica Youth Orchestra, and we would love your support to help us go on tour to Germany!

Together, our 54 young players are split into 2 teams; each team is running / walking a total of 1112 miles / 1790 km – the distance from Kirklees to Cologne and back – throughout the month of April.

UPDATE: We've done it!!!

Strings went the furthest with 1968km, and Brass + Percussion + Woodwind travelled 1837km!!

That means, in total through April, the orchestra went a WHOPPING 3804km!!!!!! WELL DONE GUYS :)

We are still running fundraising events for this trip, and would still really appreciate any donations that you could give.

The orchestra tries to go on tour every other year to give our members new experiences, both musical and cultural, that they would not otherwise have. The memories of these tours last a lifetime.

Your donations will:

• Support transport, accommodation and food costs for tour members

• Allow our children to experience new cultures and traditions

• Give our players once-in-a-lifetime performance opportunities in stunning venues

They provide music services to all across Kirklees for all ages and abilities, and are looking for any help they can get to send their wonderful and talented children on the trip of a lifetime.
