The Arlene Francis Center is seeking support for our Fifth and Final season of Shakespeare in the Cannery; our beloved summer theater production in the heart of Santa Rosa’s Historic Railroad Square.   Shakespeare in the Cannery began five years ago when the remaining walls of the Cal Pak Cannery became the backdrop to our first play, Romeo and Juliet.  Now in our final season, we close with Shakespeare in Love, our tribute to William Shakespeare!

This Summer 2018, the show will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; 
July 13th through August 2nd. 
Gates open at 5pm and the show starts at 7pm!

Based on the Academy Award winning movie, the play Shakespeare in Love tells the imaginary story of the struggling young playwright, William Shakespeare, whose passion for his poetry-loving muse inspires him to write his stunning masterpiece, Romeo and Juliet.  Directed by David Lear.  Adapted for the stage by Lee Hall.  Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. New York, NY.
