Sponsored boxing fight in honour of my late grandfather

I'm raising money in aid of Breathing Matters, University College London Hospitals Charity and every donation will help.

Why Breathing Matters?

I have chosen to raise funds for Breathing Matters in honour of my late grandfather - he was a guiding light, a constant fighter and someone who had lived a healthy life.

At the age of 91, my grandfather had suffered with a lung infection and pulmonary fibrosis. When doctors were treating my grandfather, they didn’t know how to treat him and what they were treating him for. This shows that there was a lack of awareness for his condition. Subsequently, he passed away after fighting for 3 months.

Breathing Matters’ Mission

“Breathing Matters’ mission is to raise awareness and inspire fundraising for research into pulmonary fibrosis and lung infection. We strive to improve the lives of every pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiectasis and lung infection patient by funding vital research into treatments and cures, and by improving awareness and knowledge of these conditions.”
