San Pedro Sula, Honduras Mission Trip

Hello!

My name is Isaac and I’m a Spanish teacher at my local high school located in Franklin, NC. I’m currently on a mission trip in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. I will be serving here for 8 weeks and returning back to the United States on August 4th, 2023.

The mission is simple. Offer hope only found in Christ. I will be traveling to the local communities and spreading the good word of the gospel through testimony, discipleship, ministry, games, activities, food, and many more methods for all ages to hear.

My mission is being facilitated by Sparrow missions which is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 with whom I am serving an internship. They serve in Honduras in three different locations and also are extending their reach to Peru and Thailand. They currently provide education for 200 students here in San Pedro Sula and have also planted several churches . New dorms have been built to house the incoming teams as well as the other interns and I. Each week I will be helping the team members communicate with the local residents, keeping the dorms clean, participating in the praise team worship and all the activities each team will be involved in.
