Spread the Music to the World
Donation protected
Please join us in our effort to raise funds for the launch of a creative project called “Spread the Music to the World.” This campaign will benefit the “International DC Trio” from Washington, D.C., a musical collaboration of classically trained young artists from the United States, Russia and Mexico.
We hope to raise approximately $15,000 to record a debut album, and we’re asking for your help to cover expenses for recording, mixing, mastering and marketing. With your generous support we will be able to share our unique style of music with the world!
WHO WE ARE
We are the" International DC Trio" – classically trained professional musicians from Washington, D.C.:
Anna Nizhegorodseva (piano) Doctor of Music, Catholic University, Washington, D.C., First Prize International Music competition EUTERPE, Corato, Italy;
Enrique Reynosa (violin) Doctor of Music, Catholic University, Washington, D.C.
Serge Khrichenko (virtuoso guitarist, banjoist, composer) Rimsky Korsakov Musical College, St. Petersburg, Russia
THE KIND OF MUSIC WE PLAY
We play music written by Russian-American composer Serge Khrichenko encompassing many different musical genres: chamber, classical, neo-classical, jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, ragtime and many others.
Additional performers include Russian-Americans sopranos: Olga Orlovskaya, graduate of Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, and Yulia Petrachuk, graduate of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Bern Opera Studio.
COST
A professionally produced album requires expenses. We need to hire a producer/engineer, mix engineer and mastering engineer. International DC Trio will provide most of the instrumentation on the album, but we’ll also need a clarinet player and cellist.
HOW ELSE CAN YOU HELP?
Please share information about this campaign with everyone you know who loves music.
