Spread the Smiles: School in Maputo, Mozambique

Notice anything strange about this 'classroom'? These children are educated under the trees in Maputo, Mozambique. The nearest school is 7km away and the children who cannot attend those schools are educated as you can see in the photo. The lessons are cancelled when it rains or is too windy.

As a second project (after the water well in Macia, Mozambique), we are fundraising for a school, building classroom by classroom which will allow 48 children to be taught in a classroom with a board, desks and chairs. 

Help us build a permanent school building for these children, therefore a brighter future through education.
