Spreading Holiday Joy in Costa Rica

This year looks different in a million and one ways.  For us during this time of year, it means thinking of all of those who have made us feel welcomed, and a sense of home away from home, wherever our tourism jobs have landed us during the Holidays.  As Backroads leaders, we've spent many Holidays away from home leading trips around the world, and are sidelined this year.  Top of mind is all of the locals that we work with that will be without our presence and business this year, that will surely be feeling it deeply.  We want to give back to those who have made us feel so welcomed and cared for, and give them something good to take away from a very difficult 2020.

·      We love and deeply miss our Holiday peak subcontractors that have become family, and want to share some love in a year they are all struggling with little to no tourism. 

·      Jackie and Shauna are dressing as elves and going around Costa Rica to spread the joy and love (in masks!!) , and deliver (monetary) gifts to all of the subcons that we can reach. We will need all donations by December 20, 2020.

·      We will be sharing videos and photos in the effort to make you feel part of the journey from the back of the truck.  We will also be sharing a breakdown of where the donations are going.
