Spring Johnson Medical Emergency

Hello everyone, I come to you as humble as I possibly can asking for help for my sweet friend, Spring Johnson. Here is a little back story and and update on her current status. The weekend before Thanksgiving, Spring fell ill with several things going on, including Covid, pneumonia and a cellulitis infection in her chest and esophagus. With all of this going on she was admitted into the hospital where she stayed a week trying to recover. The doctors finally felt it was safe enough for her to go home and continue her recovery. The doctors explained to her that she had a long road of recovery and she wouldn't be able to return back to work for some time. Spring started to feel a little better for a few days and shortly after she felt a huge decline in health once again with horrible headaches and throat pain that would not go away, along with not being able to swallow any liquids or food. She returned back to her doctor this last Tuesday, within 20 mins he was sending her back to the hospital to find out what was going on. After the hospital performed a CT scan they found that Spring has a 4cm tear in her aorta artery. Lakeland facilities do not have the ability to care for this type of situation so she was air lifted to Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. Spring will undergo a 15-20 hour major surgery to where she will recieve a donors arteries and tissue (Thank God for donors). Spring and Bob are currently awaiting when the surgery will be. She has a huge team of doctors that are getting the best game plan together for the safest outcome of this surgery. The surgery is VERY RISKY, but we have faith that all will be well. All of this being said, Spring has a very long road and tough fight ahead of her. But, if you know Spring, she is tough and witty and will not give up. Her loving husband has been by her side the entire time, in which he has not been able to work his 2 jobs. Right now with eveything being touch and go it is unknown as to when he will be able to return to work! We all know just because circumstances stop us from working, unforchantly it does not stop the bills from rolling in. With Spring and Bob's permission I am putting together this fundraiser to help off set some cost and to help while they are both off work. With holidays approaching we understand its hard for everyone, but every little bit counts.
