Springer Strong Cancer Journey

Hi, I am starting a Go Fund Me for my oldest son, Ron Springer. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March of 2021 then underwent 2 different chemo treatments in Glens Falls. He proposed to his now fiance' last August (picture is right after proposal, which included the heifer!). A few days later, he got the news that the cancer had returned again and was in the lymph nodes in his abdomen. This meant a trip to Sloan Kettering - in October they picked up and moved to NYC (4 hours away from home) and lived there to undergo high dose chemo and stem cell therapy until January 16th when they were able to return home for a couple of weeks. Last week they made the trek down for the day for presurgery appointments. Next week, he will undergo a major surgery - retroperitoneal lymph nodes. The surgery is usually 4-7 hours, can be as long as 10 hours. He and his fiance Alley have been out of work on and off for nearly the past 2 years. While they were lucky enough to find free housing at the Hope Lodge from October-January they had to provide transportation and provide their own meals. After the surgery, he will be an inpatient at Sloan for probably 7-14 days. They need our help, as normal household bills still happen, additional expenses of traveling and staying in the city.
