SPROLLS Dessert Spring Rolls

My grandmother, Hattie Washington, inspired me in so many ways, and cooking was one of them. There wasn't anything she made that wasn't superb. Pies were something that was a specialty for her, but I have never been a pie crust lover, so I would only eat the filling. So, I tweaked the sweet pie recipe, by just making the filling as a side dish. I have been making them for family and friends for many years. About 10 years ago, I decided to try something different. I took the filling and put it in a spring roll wrap. My son Rashaad and his wife Martiana loved them. We started selling them at our jobs, and the response was overwhelming, making them before work was no easy task. After awhile, I stopped and decided to concentrate on building it as a serious business. I enlisted the help of SCORE, Georgia SBDC, Atlanta MBDA through Georgia Tech , University of Georgia Food Innovation Program and a host of other entities. During this time, while I was building a foundation, I began to market my products, at various events for free. Again, the response was wonderful. I slowly started doing festivals and catered events. I began to get busy again and decided to look for a manufacturer. That was a difficult task, that took several years, as manufacturers don't like to deal with small businesses, unless you have a huge volume. I finally found one in Milledgeville, GA. We are in the processing stage, where production can begin. I have to get the packaging completed, as well as a building to house products that will be e-commerced.
So far, I have invitations to present my products from Walmart, Food Lion, Foodgles(which is building stores in Macon, Atlanta and Toomsboro, GA.) and a local food truck Mr. G's. I am signed up with several government agencies. I am certified as WOSB(woman-owned), DBE(disadvantaged business) and MBE(minority business).
I am starting with Sweet Potato Sprolls and Specialty Glaze, but there are other flavors that will be offered, such as Banana Pudding. Banana Pudding was a flavor that I was making when were selling to our jobs and events. It was also well received. I am also working with a chef to have vegan Sprolls.
I could really use your help to take Sprolls to the next level. In addition to appreciating any amount, help me to spread the word. I give God the praise through it all. Any amount that you contribute is greatly appreciated.
