SPTW girls team at the European Club Cup

Hi, my name is Lorin and I am the founder of She Plays To Win, a non-profit organisation whose aim is to encourage more girls to learn, play and benefit from chess. All events we do are free regardless of socio-economic background.

We have grown in 3 years since inception in April 2020 to over 1000 UK girls signed up, for primary, secondary and university girls to get involved with chess, regardless of level or ability.

We have entered a SPTW team of 4 of our very best young female players in the 27th European Club Cup for Women, to be played in Durres, Albania from 1st to 7th October 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity for our girls to rub shoulders against some of the very best female players in the world who will represent their team in what is the equivalent of the chess 'Champions League'.

To do this we need to raise £5000 for the costs involved- flights, accommodation, and all other fees involved to participate in this prestigious event.
