Spud lost everything in Maui Fire

I’m asking for help for our dear friend Spud Lenhardt because he is not one to ask for himself. Many homes, businesses and lives were lost in the devastation of the Maui Fire. Spud has resided in his legendary Front Street home for 25 years. A lifelong waterman and a fixture of the Lahaina community, Spud barely escaped the flames with his life. He was forced to enter the ocean and sustained serious burns and cuts on his feet. Spud spent 6 hours in the ocean along with 80 other people His beloved cats and all possessions are gone as well as his livelihood. The footage he has of the nightmares he has witnessed will haunt us forever.

He spent several days at the Maui Prep shelter and has relocated to a friend’s couch.

Spuds goal is to get back to Lahaina and help rebuild his beloved community but he needs our help now. Please consider donating whatever you can to funds like these that go directly to survivors that have lost so much. Thank you!
