Support Lauren during her FMLA
Donation protected
My name is Mike Giles and I'm the General Manager for the Four Points by Sheraton hotel located near the Seattle Center in downtown Seattle. My hotel has a small staff which allows us to be close knit, like a family; and like many families, we come together to support each other in both good and challenging times.
One of our "family", our Sales Coordinator Lauren, recently had to take leave from our hotel due to a serious medical concern. While we can use FMLA to protect her job, our company is small enough that we can't offer disability or any type of wage protection during the 12 weeks that she'll be away.
This means that Lauren needs help not only from our immediate hotel family but from all of our extended friends and families as well to support her financially during this difficult time.
The monies raised will be used so that she can continue to live her life and pay her bills. It will help cover her rent and utilities, the medical bills that are starting to come in as well as groceries and all the "day-to-day" things that pop up in our lives.
We need to be able to have these funds available to Lauren by the end of February 2016.
Lauren needs all of her energy to focus on staying healthy. Her life right now is stressful enough that she shouldn't have to worry about how she's going to pay the rent. Together we can help shoulder some of that burden in the form of financial assistance.
I will bend over backwards to help anyone of my staff but I can only do so much. Your assistance and financial support means more to me than I can express. Saying "Thank You", doesn't seem like enough, but being full of thanks for every positive thought, prayer or dollar is all I can offer in return.
