Madison's Portable O2 Fund
Donation protected
Madison was born August 7th 2009 weighing only 3 lbs. She was immediately diagnosed with a form of congenital heart disease in which the pulmonary valve does not perform properly and transferred to Children's Hospital Oakland. She received her first of four open heart surgeries at two months old and was expected to need a heart transplant in the near future. Madison has also been diagnosed with premature lung disease , tracheomalasia, cerebral palsy and compromised immune deficiency due to a rare genetic disorder. This rare disorder has only been diagnosed in five clinical cases. Madison continues to defy the odds. After her last exploratory surgery in July doctors are optimistic that they will be able to save her heart and not need a transplant. And despite her cerebal palsy she is walking although her mobility is limited because she has to be connected to the oxygen tank at all times. We are THANKFUL for everyday we have with Madison and continue to work on her quality of life with the help of her doctor, therapist, family, friends, and community through their prayers and support. We would love to raise money so Madison can get a three pound portable oxygen tank. A portable oxygen tank will give her the ability to be more mobile and be able to enjoy the outdoors.
