Hi my name is Alanna Osborne and I am the owner of Beach Pottery Etc. Our neighborhood and community took a devastating hit from Hurricane Ian. The whole area was under 10+ feet of water. Honestly we are grateful for our lives as many were not so fortunate. As we are cleaning up, we are discovering how resolute our community is. We have so much clean up to do, and are trying to secure any inventory that did survive. We have had looting and theft of pots that did survive. I need to get a perimeter fence up quickly to secure what we do have. My core staff has been amazing and stepped right up and been with me literally shoveling out mud and muck. Trying to salvage any bit of anything. I am their only source of income. The responsibility I feel to these girls is immense. I have also lost my personal home and vehicles and have limited personal resources until insurance (hopefully) kicks in. What I am asking for is for the amazing girls who you all know and love, who make your favorite coffee in the morning, who helped you load pots in your car, chatted with you. Every little bit helps. And every penny will go to my staff as they continue to help me dig out, clean up rebuild. I know so many of us lost everything, so it’s hard for me to even ask. Much love,
Alanna
