Srijana Shakya’s breast cancer support fund

Srijana (or “Srij the Nepalese Warrior” to her nearest and dearest), has been given the devastating news that she has stage 2 breast cancer.

Srij’s cancer has spread to her lymph system, and whilst the prognosis is very good, she requires urgent surgery, followed by radiation therapy, potentially chemotherapy too, in addition to ongoing medication.

Srij is a mother to 3 boys aged 9, 10 and 17. She is a Personal Trainer (and a bloody good one at that!) and whilst undergoing treatment she will likely be too unwell to work. Srij is self-employed so this applies additional pressure to an already stressful situation.

Srij lives with her boys and her fur-baby Lola.

Her parents and extended family all live in Hong Kong which is extremely tough.

With the costs of the surgery and ongoing treatment, in addition to being without an income, Srij needs our support.

Now - Srij is a proud woman who isn’t keen on asking for a helping hand, but in this instance, we are just going to ask for her.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference to this beautiful woman and her boys.
