My name is Timothy Peter Rookey, the nephew of the late Fr. Peter Mary Rookey, O.S.M, who was often called "The Man of Miracles" or "The Healing Priest". The Lord worked countless miracles of healing through him during his 73 year priesthood. Along with my wife Anne, I am trying to raise some funds to promote the legacy of our uncle, Fr. Rookey, and to advance his cause for sainthood in the Catholic Church.
We need your financial support as this process can be very costly. We intend to work full time in this effort, organizing and preserving Father's personal papers and scanning and sharing the thousands of photos we have of him, many buried away in boxes.
We'll be working hard to send his cause for canonization to the Vatican as soon as possible. The five year waiting period to begin this process ends this coming September.
Millions around the world have been touched by Fr. Rookey's ministry and he was called a living saint by many during his lifetime. We wish to help make the title of "saint" an official one for him.
