4x4x48 Challenge in aid of St. Brigids Hospice
I'm raising money in aid of The Friends of St. Brigid's Hospice and Home Care Services and every donation will help. Having spoken to families who have experienced the care and services that St Brigid's Hospice they all have talked so highly of the team. The extra touches that the staff and facilitates provide to families really supports these families during these difficult times. Families have spoken about the kindness of the staff, the beautiful garden that the patients have access to and the flexibility of the staff to allow family pets to make their final visits also.
St Brigid's Hospice is a voluntary organisation with charitable status and is a company limited by guarantee. 100% of the monies received from fundraising activities & donations are used to provide for:
- Extra hours of home care where necessary
- Supplementary nursing cover
- Funding for training courses
- Security services

- Building additional patient accommodation
- Bursary for staff and other educational needs
- Garden maintenance
- Patient comforts
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
The 4x4x48 Challenge involves running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours (12 runs and roughly 77km in total over the two days).
I am starting the challenge Friday, March 4th at 8pm in the Phoenix Park, running every 4 hours until my final run, starting in ABC Gym in Clane on Sunday, March 6th. I’ll be updating people on my progress throughout the weekend on my Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/coach_seanc/), doing live updates before each run and posts on them afterward.
Thanks for reading and donating!
