Silas's Top Surgery Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Linus, and my boyfriend, Silas, is booked in for gender affirming top surgery at the end of March with Dr. Cheng Lo in Melbourne. I've set up this fundraiser to help him cover the costs of that surgery, which, as many already know, is quite a hefty amount. He and I are trying our best to alleviate financial strain and are asking for any donation amount you'd be comfortable sharing.

Here's the cost breakdown:

Surgery fee – $5450 (after rebate)

Anaesthetist – $500

Hospital stay – $750

TOTAL – $6700

We're also doing a fundraiser event in February, which will feature readings and live music. We'll add those funds directly to here once it comes in. More info coming shortly.

Neither of us knew how much personal information to put in here, but for those who know Silas, you'll probably be aware that this has been a pretty long time coming.
