Help Save Aria

Hi everyone ! My name is Avyon and I would like to take a second to tell you about Aria, my 7 year old Shepherd/wolf hybrid. On April 21st, Aria began experiencing difficulty walking, running, and could barely stand. She refused to eat or drink water, and would lay on the ground motionless for hours. This was completely out of character and concerning since Aria is normally so fun loving and full of life; always ready to tackle the next adventure. I made an appointment with Aria’s veterinarian and took her in for a visit. The veterinarian was puzzled and unsure how to proceed with treatment for Aria. He initially suggested an X-Ray, medication, full blood work, and an MRI to help identify any abnormalities that was causing her pain. I did what i could of course and paid for the X-Ray, blood work, and medication which was about $650. After the recommended tests were completed, the veterinarian discovered that Aria is suffering from a ruptured disk in her lumbar spine that is causing stress on her hind legs and back and is effectively rendering her paralyzed. The vete has informed me that in order to treat this condition, Aria will need neuro-surgery. This includes an additional MRI to identify other areas of stress in her spine as well as post-surgery medication. Aside from this recent setback in Aria’s health, she is a sweet, loving, and healthy pup with no other underlying medical issues. Without this surgery, Aria’s life will be cut short from years to a matter of months. Without this surgery, her last few months on this Earth will be painful, confusing, and scary for her. Without this surgery, I will lose my favorite girl in the world. I understand that the amount I am asking to be raised is a large quantity, especially considering the current concerns of COVID-19. Any support you are able to provide will help and is sincerely appreciated. I know to some people, she’s just a dog but she has been through so many important life decisions and brought me so much joy.
