SSG Irwin Hurricane Relief

Thank you for visiting my go fund me campaign. I am Staff Sergeant Jeremy Irwin and I am currently deployed to the Middle East. On October 14th 2016, Hurricane Mathew severely damaged my home in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Because of the record amount of rain, a dam broke a few miles from my home which caused an overwhelming flood in my neighborhood. Although I have hurricane insurance, I discovered that it would only cover wind and hail damage.  Approximately five feet of water flooded into my entire home where it sat for multiple days and caused damage throughout.  While I have applied for FEMA and other emergency resources through the Army, I still need thirty-one thousand dollars for repairs. My wife and two children are still living in the house while the repairs get done. Among the items needing repair are new drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinets, all new furniture, and doors for the entire first floor.
