SSgt Matthew Hardin and family.

Hi, our names are SMSgt Mark Close and MSgt Andy Ruehl and on behalf of his fellow Stinger Crew Chiefs we are raising money for SSgt Matthew Hardin, his parents and his family as they face the hardships of dealing with a medical emergency for him after he was struck by a car and hospitalized following a hit and run accident while crossing the road in downtown Toledo, OH on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Matt is currently hospitalized and recovering from his many injuries and has a potentially long road ahead. He served in the Marines before joining the Ohio Air National Guard where he currently serves his country as an F-16 Dedicated Crew Chief of aircraft 89-2114. We are Matt's supervisors and he is a true team guy, liked by all, with an energetic and enthusiastic approach to his work and life. He will truly be missed in his time away recovering from his injuries.

We are looking to provide him and his family with additional funds to help with any unexpected expenses or needs they may encounter during this tragic time and through his recovery to ease this burden.
