St. Anthony Church - St Joseph Eagle Project

My name is Anthony Arroyo and I am a life scout with troop 762 in the City of El Segundo and a 9th grader at El Segundo High School.  As an Eagle Scout candidate, I will lead scouts in the creation of a St. Joseph Grotto Shrine to expand on my brother’s Eagle Project that assisted with its original creation of a Meditation Garden-Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto completed in 2014. I am excited to do my Eagle project at St. Anthony Catholic Church as I have been a parishioner there since birth. The creation of the new St. Joseph Grotto will be an additional place for prayer, gatherings and blessing for Fr. Robert, His parish and the Community it serves. The funds I am raising will be used to purchase materials such as flagstone, stacked stone, marble pebble rocks, cement, decorative plants, trees and food for my workers. This project will start March 7, 2020. The funding support I receive will allow me to bring my beneficiary's idea to life - A St. Joseph Grotto and to become an Eagle Scout - the highest achievement earned by Scouts.
