St David's Catholic College Covid-19 PPE

We are raising money to allow us to support the key workers and vulnerable people in our local community during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Initially, we intend to use funds to step up our game (by purchasing more equipment) and to ensure a continuous supply of materials in order to supply PPE visors to our local key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we shall also work with local organisations to support them in accessing other PPE and essential items, with any additional funds raised. Additional funds may also be used to aid the vulnerable in the communities of Cardiff and the surrounding areas. Your donations will go straight to St David's Catholic College, allowing us to meet the needs of key workers and the vulnerable people in our community.

We are providing these visors during the Covid-19 pandemic, in an attempt to support our College community.

This product has not been certified for medical use in the UK. This should only be used in the absence of any other endorsed PPE (provided, for example, by the NHS). We advise you dispose of our products when PPE which has been cleared for medical use in the UK is made available to you. The visor has not been thoroughly checked and certified for the prevention of contamination and infection, filtering of surgical smoke, plumes, viruses, bacteria or fungi, and killing of viruses, bacteria or fungi.

It is the responsibility of the user of the product to determine whether it is 'fit for purpose' and provides adequate personal protection. We are following the lead of large communities, such as 3D Crowd Volunteers, Smoke and Mirrors, etc. who have printed hundreds of thousands of similar masks. However, it remains the responsibility of the organisation to ensure the safety and protection of their service users, staff members and volunteers. Our products come with no guarantees and are to be used at the discretion of each organisation.
