Donate to support Aaron, St Eddies hit and run victim

Donation protected
On behalf of Aaron’s aunties and uncles, I have created this GoFundMe to support our nephew Aaron and his family as a result of a horrific incident which has changed Aaron’s life forever.

On Friday morning of 28 March 2025, 14-year-old Aaron was waiting to cross the road to go to school at St. Edmund’s when his life was tragically altered. As Aaron and his friend were crossing the road to school, they were struck by a speeding, erratically driven car. The vehicle had allegedly been stolen, and the driver fled the scene, leaving both boys critically injured.

Aaron was rushed to the hospital in serious condition, suffering from multiple life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to theatre for multiple procedures and then put into life support. He has already endured several surgeries, with more to come and faces a long and painful road to recovery. Aaron remains in the ICU at this time with multiple internal injuries and extensive damage to both of his hands. The functionality of Aarons hands is still not known, and he will require extensive rehabilitation.

Aaron is a strong, kind-hearted boy who has been through unimaginable pain. Aaron always looks on the bright side of life and even in and out of consciousness is managing a joke or two. Aaron loves playing rugby and is a very promising player, he loves fishing and all things active, the injuries to his hands will have a huge impact all these activities. Aaron is an AMAZING big cousin to all his nieces and nephew and is always the life of any family event.

Aaron’s family are by his side every step of the way. We are seeking support to ease the financial impact of medical bills and rehabilitation now and long into Aaron’s future. Any amount you can give will help ease his burden and support his journey to recovery. If you’re unable to donate, please share this fundraiser to spread the word.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Aaron and his family are deeply grateful for your support during this difficult time.
