St Edwards Cheddleton Warm Space Heating Fund

St Edward's Church is a beautiful building that dates back to the 13th century. We need to raise funds to install a new heating boiler, so we can offer a 'Warm Space' to anyone that needs it during daytime hours. We also provide hot drinks and snacks on a Mondays and Fridays from 10 am - 12noon and Wednesdays 2.30 pm - 4.30 pm. We are a Dementia Friendly Church and encourage people to come for a coffee and natter with like-minded individuals. On most Sundays, we hold a service from 10.30 am until 11.30 am and offer hot refreshments after.

The heating system we currently have is very old, unreliable and costs such a lot to run. We have been quoted over £15,000 to replace the heating system, so need to ask if anyone could make a donation to help us reach our target of £15,000.
