St Irene’s Orthodox Mission Kenya
Donation protected
I am raising funds for the St. Irene Orthodox Mission Center, Kenya, The Mission provides basic education and a feeding programme to orphans and other vulnerable children.
The Mission centre is located in the town of Engineer in Nyandarua county, Kenya.
It is the goal of St. Irene Orthodox Mission Center
to bring more children to Jesus Christ, to provide clean water and food, to clothe them and accommodate as many orphan children as God brings to them. In this way, with God’s help, the Mission can raise them up to be strong in the Lord and strong in their lives.

The Mission serves 96 children who suffer from various types of poverty – physical, spiritual, economic, and social. Many of the children are orphaned, and many live with sick or elderly parents or caregivers or in homes that are physically and sexually abusive. It is Fr. Constantinos and Presbytera Triza’s desire to show each child the love and nurturing of Christ and His holy Church, and to meet their physical and spiritual needs.
26 of our children are supported entirely by St. Irene Orthodox Mission Center. The other 70 children depend on St. Irene Mission for food and education but live with guardians in the surrounding community.
Funds are urgently needed as Nyandarua county together with the rest of Central Kenya is in the midst of a severe drought so there are very few local resources.
You can read more about the work of the Mission www.stireneorthodoxmission.org and www.stirenemission.com
I am in frequent contact with Fr Constantino's Eliud, the founder and director of the Mission. The much-needed funds will be applied directly to the needs of the children.
