St Marys 24 Hour Community Fun Run 2024
Donation protected
St. Mary's GAA club is re launching their 24 hour fun run which last took place in 2022. This will see over 300 members of our community split into 12 teams to complete 2 x1 hour runs/walks in 24 hours. All monies raised will go to fund the continuing development of our club grounds as well as supporting two local charities
The Sligo Cancer Support Centre is a place of peace and hope where people with cancer and their families can access support, counselling, holistic therapies and healing workshops in a caring and tranquil environment.
All donations received will help to ensure that the work the centre provides in supporting, emotional healing and transforming the lives of those with cancer and their families can continue throughout the North West.
STOP Suicide was originally founded in 2004 by families who were bereaved by suicide. The organisation was rebranded in 2018 to North West STOP.
North West STOP provides counselling free of charge for all ages. North West STOP is voluntary community-based organisation that works to prevent suicide by informing, educating and promoting positive mental health. It was founded because of a gap in terms of access to institutional services in our area where individuals may be on a long-terms waiting list. North West STOP seeks to respond to the needs of individuals and groups in a timely fashion.
St Mary's GAA Club continues to develop its facilities at our club grounds in Kent Park. With your support we hope to continue to make improvements to Kent Park for the benefit of all our members and the wider community. Below are some example of improvements made in recent years:
1. Clubhouse Upgrade
2. New Scoreboard
3. Upgrade of Pitch Fencing
