Half Marathon for St Michael's Hospice
This May, I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon in memory of my grandfather, John Michael Brown. I am raising funds for St Michael's Hospice in Hereford, where he spent his final weeks surrounded by exceptional care and compassion. St Michael's Hospice plays a vital role in supporting patients and their families, providing comfort and specialised care during life’s most challenging moments.
Running a half marathon is both a personal challenge and a heartfelt tribute to my grandfather’s memory. He was an active and proud supporter of my brother's and my sporting achievements, and I know this would have meant a great deal to him. Training and running in his honor feels like a meaningful way to celebrate his life while supporting such a remarkable cause.
