St Nicholas Orthodox Catholic Church Roof Fund

A little over a year ago The Very Reverend Father Richard Salley and other church officers discovered that a trusted member of over 50 years who was our Treasurer had been helping himself to cash donations. Bills had not been turned in or paid due to his actions. We had over $15,000 saved for the church roof replacement that has been leaking and causing further damage. Other church monies and donations were also missing but only those made with personal checks could be accounted for. We estimate that at least $30,000 was missing. 
We are only a small church of less than 30 faithful  parishioners  to keep the church going. Because of the Corona-virus attendance has fallen and our two major fundraisers, baking and selling nut rolls during the holiday season and our annual Chinese Auction have come to a stop. We have been able to come up with half the monies to replace the roof and work is scheduled to start by the end of September.
We are reaching out to those receiving this through emails and social media to find it in your Heart to help us in raising the balance needed to complete the project in these desperate times. We are putting our FAITH in GOD that he will let this request reach those that will be able and willing to donate.
