St. Sabina's Selah Youth Choir go to South Africa

Please join us! We're raising money to help Selah, the Youth Choir of the Faith Community of St Sabina, travel to Cape Town, South Africa!

Selah is a dynamic youth gospel choir with current members ranging in age from 6 to 18. Under the direction of Sam Williams & Jacinta Warnie, the group sings regularly at St. Sabina, but it's also incredibly active in spreading love and light through engagements all over Chicago and the surrounding area, most recently at the 2023 Chicago Gospel Music Festival!

This amazing group of young people has been invited to visit Cape Town, South Africa this fall! The trip is being planned with opportunities for Selah to experience Cape Town through tours and excursions, and for Cape Town to experience us through our music and mission. We have been working hard to raise funds and each traveler has personally invested as much as possible, but we still can't afford the trip without your support! (The cost is $2,900 per person and there are 33 of us slated to go.)

Your contribution would be tremendously appreciated and could make such a difference in the lives of these wonderful and deserving young people. For most of our group, this may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
