Missionary Disciple Formation

I want to be a missionary disciple!

These past 2 years have been a wild and radical ride with my faith and nothing is not radical with Jesus. Last year I converted to the Catholicism after Jesus revealing himself to me through the mysteries of the faith. I call this journey coming home and God has continued to draw me closer to his Son through the little way of St. Therese of Lisieux otherwise known as the little flower.

What is the meaning of the Little Way of St. Therese? It is an image that tries to capture her understanding of being a disciple of Jesus Christ, of seeking holiness in ordinary life. St. Therese based her Little Way on two fundamental convictions: first, God shows love by mercy and forgiveness; and second, she could not be “perfect” in following the Lord - that is “holy” - without the Lord’s assistance. St. Therese approached God as a child approaches a parent - with open arms and profound trust.

For the past few months I have in Bruno Saskatchewan at school being formed into a missionary disciple through study, prayer, and community living. The hardest part of this yes to a missionary disciple formation program has been how am I going to support myself financially. Up to this point all my fees have been supported and given graciously and it has been crazy living in total abandonment to Jesus.
