St. Thomas High School Tuition Fee

During Spring Break, I received two emails stating that I was accepted to Strake Jesuit and St. Thomas High School. Strake's tuition is $20,800 and St. Thomas' tuition is $19,000.Strake did not offer me any money but St. Thomas did, which was $6,000. After a long thought process, my dad and I decided to choose St. Thomas, but the $6,000 was not enough. That would leave my dad paying $1,300 a month and he is a single parent with no help and that was going to put us him at a major deficit. Luckily, I knew the varsity head coach, Coach Gary Hall, at St. Thomas. So the coach told us to write the admissions director a letter stating how much I wanted to go there. They eventually gave us $2,000. That still wasn't enough.  We did more work and they gave us another $2,000. So that put us to $10,000 in money for my tuition. My dad would still have to pay $900 a month which would still be hard on him. So we decided to start this go fund me to help raise money to help my father pay for my school's tuition. You may ask, why don't you go to a public school. Well, my father wants to give me an experience he did not get when he was going to high school, and he wants me to become a better man than he was growing up. And we both believe that St. Thomas will do exactly that, but the tuition is a major setback for my dad and me.  We appreciate all donations no matter how small or how large they are. Thank you.
