Project Honor

I'm Grant Vialardi, a Junior from John Jay High School in Cross River, New York and I am raising money in partnership with the Lewisboro Veteran's Advisory Committee for local veterans. I’ve also listed the link to my Facebook page where you can find updates on the progress of this project to help and honor our veterans.

During the pandemic, I learned how to fix watches and cameras by watching YouTube videos and I started a business where I resell the items that I’ve fixed. I decided that I wanted to help local veterans by asking our community to donate old watches and cameras that might be sitting in a closet not being used, make them functional again and then sell them online with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit our veterans.

Our veterans have given so much to the community, so I want to help pay it forward by raising funds and generating awareness for their service and sacrifice. I’m also doing this to honor my grandfather, who enlisted in the Army because service was important to him.

From now through Veterans Day, I’m asking for any support you can provide to help our veterans as a way to thank them for their service. If you have any watches or cameras to donate for this cause, please message me here or via my Facebook page (which also has my contact information). We also appreciate any monetary donations to this campaign as all funds received will go towards helping and honoring our veterans.
