Stabbing at Apple Harvest … #prayersforjake

Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m a friend of Melissa Gibson, the mother of a teenage boy named Jake who is stabbed at Apple harvest fest over the weekend. What was supposed to be a fun time out turned into a nightmare for this family. Not only was a single mother who lives paycheck to paycheck already struggling, but is now out of work to care for her child and make hospital trips back-and-forth, as well as try to take care of her other child at the same time. Any little bit helps to cover expenses. Jake was released from the hospital yesterday after the knife came 1 cm from his heart and was readmitted today as lung has collapsed again. There is a long road ahead of them and we are just trying to keep food on the table and a roof over their head at this point.
