In Honour of the Life of STACEY LEE TREGEAR
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beautiful Stacey Lee Tregear after succumbing to her battles and taking her own life on Thursday 20 March 2025.
For those who were blessed to know Stace knew she was a daughter to Karen & Mark, a sister to Jhana & Trent, a mother to 3 beautiful children Tyler, Kody & Summer, a niece, cousin, colleague, alumni and & a friend to so many over her very short 37 years on this earth.
Stace was a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Her kindness radiated in everything she did, from the way she offered a warm smile to those around her, to the genuine care she showed for others' well-being. Her heart was full of love and compassion, always thinking of ways to help, to support, and to lift others up. Including beyond her devastating passing as she wishes to donate her organs that continues her giving nature.
Her laugh could light up a room, and her presence brought comfort to anyone who needed it. If you were a friend of Stace’s you will know that, she loved you! She loved and appreciated wholeheartedly those who gave her their time. She would do anything for you. Her hugs so intense from the joy she felt when being in your presence, her appreciation of YOU was unfathomable.
Sadly, despite her strength and grace, Stace had battled greatly with different levels of trauma and faced an ongoing fight that she fought with unimaginable courage. Though her struggles were invisible to many, the presence, grace, love and appreciation to her family, friends and carers that she always showed up with, she was sadly silently losing the battle with her own mental health. Her fight was relentless, and despite all her efforts, the burden became too heavy.
Her joy and love for her 3 children, even during her own battles, was endless. Stace loved her children with her entire being, and no-one can take that away from her.
During her battles Stace still continued to achieve greatness, completing a university degree and building more beautiful friendships and memories throughout that journey. Stacey was known for being clever and always challenging tutors, much as she did to teachers during high school. Stace was an advocate for social transformation and social justice. Her kindness to her peers from primary school through to Uni did not change, she was always helping those doing it tough.
Stacey's passing is a profound loss, not only to those who loved her but to the world that could have seen even more of her light. Her spirit, however, will live on in her 3 children she leaves behind, the memories of the warmth she shared, the kindness she spread, and the love she gave. Though her battle ended too soon, her legacy is one of resilience, and the importance of caring for one another.
In the wake of her passing, her family now face the unimaginable financial strain a funeral brings.
With Stace's heartbreaking passing, a time where no parent should have to bury their child, nor should such young children have to bury their parent, Karen and Mark are met with not only the overwhelming grief of losing their youngest daughter but also the financial burden of laying her to rest. If you are in a position to offer any support, they would be deeply grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small.
Your kindness will help cover the costs of her funeral and provide some relief during this incredibly difficult time to ensure her parents and children have their beautiful daughter and mother sent off in a way that she is ever so deserving of. Any remaining funds will also go toward helping them and Stace’s children as they navigate the challenges of life without Stacey.
Thank you for keeping them in your thoughts and offering your support during this time of loss.
Forever grateful,
Jodi & Dwayne
