Kevin & Stacey Schnepp-Stoops & Family

Hi, I'm Lisa Lopez, a friend of Stacy Schnepp-Stoops I am reaching out to her friends, family, and community to help provide support, prayers, and encouragement to Stacy and her family.

In late May 2023, Stacey’s life was turned upside down; her husband, Kevin, woke in the middle of the night with breathing difficulty. He was taken to a local hospital, where they found fluid in his lungs and an indication of heart damage. He was then taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. He is still at Jersey Shore in the ICU.

On top of the medical issues, the night Kevin was admitted to the hospital, Stacey returned home to overflowing toilets. This led to a plumber coming in and discovering that the entire home needed to be re-plumbed. The cost is approximated at $17,000.

Many of you have been touched by Stacey’s big heart and bright smile over the years. She was an integral part of the “Our Gang Players” theatrical group for many years, instilling a passion for theater in our local children, and a proud SRHS Marching Band parent.

This month of June was to be filled with celebrations for Riley (Kevin and Stacey’s son) as he graduates from high school. If you know Stacey, you know how hard she is working to make this time in Riley’s life ‘as normal’ as possible.

There is little to no income right now, and medical bills are building, leaving the family with increasing debt.

Stacey is not one to ask for help, but I am asking. The family will be facing substantial financial burdens. Please consider a donation and a prayer for Kevin’s full recovery. Any amount is appreciated; every dollar makes a difference.
