On October 20, Stacey felt the most excruciating pain in her head and started vomiting. Alone in her basement, she fought through the pain and was able to dial 911. She was rushed to the hospital and it was determined she had a hemorrhagic stroke that left a large amount of blood in her head. She was hospitalized/in ICU for a lengthy period of time while they monitored her for any more bleeding and helping her heal from the first bleed. She will be in pain until all the extra blood is gone for about a month. With the extended stay in the hospital and recovery period after she is released, she will need a lot of assistance. Anyone who knows Stacey knows she would do anything for loved ones and friends. She is the caretaker and support for many in her life. The costs of medical expenses and loss of income will be a huge hardship for her. We would like to take away any hardship that would cause her any stress. She was working 2 jobs for many years to help take care of all around her. We are looking to raise money so we can ease that stress on her. Any amount big or small will help. Stacey has already done the bravest thing by calling 911 and getting to the hospital in time to save her life. She also has the hardest part enduring this unending pain for weeks and recovery thereafter.
Please consider donating to help Stacey with the things she cannot do on her own. Most importantly, please pray for Stacey to have a full recovery and pray for the doctors and nurses who take care of her day and night.
Her family and friends are the organizers of this fundraiser. The funds will be managed by Lori Street and will be held in a separate bank account at Fifth Third Bank.
