We grew up lucky.
No matter what I was doing, my mom was in the bleachers (or on the field) cheering for me. Now I’m not just talking championship games, I'm talking all levels of organized and unorganized sports. She was the type of mom who would come watch me play at recess. For 31 years she has been my biggest fan...
I’m not the only one my mom has encouraged and motivated. Whether it was in a coffee shop, the green van (or red van for the OG’s), or any number of other places, my mom was and still is a giver. The impact Stacy has made on those around her is unmatched.
“Now you get to cheer me on from the bleachers”
This is what our mom said to us after we found out she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.
Cheering her on isn’t enough, We don’t have 30+ years to pay her back.
If nothing else, Stacy Baker deserves some peace of mind, she deserves to not worry about the piling medical bills. For all the folks who have reached out asking how they can help, please consider following this link and making a donation. Once you’ve made a donation, I ask that you share the link and a story you have of my mom. If you don’t have one of your own, share mine.
Thank you for taking the time,
The Bakers
