Stacy Louise Childs

Greetings everyone, my name is Edesha, and I created this GoFundMe after discussing with my siblings the remaining cost of our mother's memorial expenses. In February 2019, Stacy Louise Child’s went abruptly missing, and for the past two years. Our family and friends desperately searched for her and prayed for her safe return. On Sunday, October 17th, 2021, there were unidentifiable human remains discovered in a wooded area of the 1600 block of Brushton Avenue in the Penn hills, PA area and in recent week my family was notified that the DNA is a match to ours. Upon hearing this heartbreaking news, my siblings and I have begun preparing for our mother’s memorial. Due to the difficult times that we all are facing in 2022, we need a little bit of financial support. We want to give our mother the proper burial that she deserves; so we ask that if you are able to do so, to please donate whatever you can. Her family and friends are very much appreciative of the kindness and love that you all have given to them thus far. Stacy Childs would not just only help the homeless in the community, she would volunteer at various churches around the Pittsburgh Area as well. She attended Pittsburgh Public schools and was a Graduate of Carlow University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology as well as worked the Healthy Start program among several others.

Although God has called one of best soldiers home, Stacy’s legacy, and the memories that she shared with so many people, will live on until the end of time. Her family wants to thank everyone for the happiness they brought to their mother’s life for the 56-years that she was on this Earth.
