Stacy Patterson-Allen Cancer Expenses

Hi. We as a family are looking to fundraise for Stacy Patterson-Allen. Stacy has been going through a battle of Uterine Cancer. Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma (ESS) to be exact. It is the rarest type of uterine cancer that accounts for less than 1% of cancers of the female reproductive organs. These tumors tend to occur more often in premenopausal women between 40-50 years of age. The prognosis for ESS is poor as it is a high grade malignancy that grows and metastasizes quickly. She has already gone through surgery and removed a 5lbs. tumor. BUT by the time this sarcoma is diagnosed, it has often spread outside of the uterus. Once treated, it also has a high propensity for recurrence WHICH it has and that's the biggest concern at this point. She is due to go through another surgery to remove a mass that's attached to her bladder. This will be the 2nd major surgery in a year which has already come with a lot of time off from work and appts. and soon to be more.

Anyways on top of all these physical issues comes the financial issues of medical bills. As all of us know insurance has gotten worse over the years and seems to pay less and less of these huge bills. She will also be on short term disability which again, as we all know, only pays a fraction of what you normally earn.

We understand that today's economy is financially hard on most people. With that being said we are asking for anything your willing to donate.
