Staff Member Injured During High School Fight

This is our friend Charlie. He works at a local high school. I worked with him until I retired in May. Two weeks ago he was injured in a fight (1 of 12 fights that day). This past Friday he ran to break up a fight and was severely injured. His rib was broken and punctured his lung. He said he couldn’t breathe and thought he might die. He does this job on a daily basis! He is a Marine veteran, single dad, and primary caregiver of his dad. He works three jobs to make ends meet. He won’t be able to return to his jobs until he heals. I’m asking for help to cover his daily bills and food for his family. As a teacher I have seen him protect the teachers and students daily. Now he needs our help.
