Stage 4 colon cancer patient
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Scott. I just turned 60 and a year ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 inoperable colon cancer on my lung. I was given a less than 50% chance of surviving the year. Well, I'm still here though being a self employed contractor, with few options for employment due to chemo, radiation and the side effects of all plus the medications, I am struggling to pay my medical and everyday bills. My savings is about exhausted and I am also the care giver to my 89 y/o father.
The only income that I have is being occasionally a substitute teacher which I can do in between treatments and when I'm not too sick to do so.
Any help would be appreciated. This is the last thing that I'd ever think of doing but it is what it is.
